 Medieval 14th century 
Diameter 25mm, thickness 3mm

Rectangular bezel (11mm long, 10mm wide, 3mm thick) there is a crowned ‘I’ engraved in the in the centre with a leaf/ palm branch on either side. The hoop (5mm wide, 3mm thick, inside diameter 20mm) and has a trapezoid cross-section, the inside of the hoop is worn.

The finger ring is made from copper alloy and is in excellent condition, dark green patina (original surface), very occasional patches where the surface has corroded and flaked away resulting in a lighter green colour.

The decoration/seal matrix on the bezal is chip carved.
