Summary
[edit]Description369 Green Lanes, London N4.jpg |
English: I first reported this pothole to Haringey Council on 11 June 2017, using the free website FixMyStreet. I included photos taken on 10 June 2017. These showed the pothole on the western (northbound) side of Green Lanes, London N4 1DY. Nearest address: 365/369 Green Lanes.
My report said the pothole seemed large enough to trap a bicycle wheel, risking a serious accident. (The same could apply to a motorcycle). The pothole was marked with painted but faded lines - suggesting it had been reported some time ago and listed for repair. I asked Haringey Council to take urgent action to prevent an accident. On 9 July 2017 I went back to check if this pothole had been fixed. It had not. I re-reported the pothole to Haringey Council via the free website Fix My Street, taking two new photos. One is above. Below in a close-up, the pothole appears deeper. Several fragments have gone, perhaps dislodged by the wheels of passing vehicles? It also looks as if small pieces of the road surface are about to break-up. The yellow marking had faded further. |
