Description
English: 330-PS-9934: (Also as 428-GX-USN 710639): The Polaris-A1 test vehicle (Serial A1X-14) with an instrumented nose cone launched at Cape Canaveral Air Force Station (CCAFS; now Cape Canaveral Space Force Station (CCSFS)) from pad LC-25A. This was the seventh successful test flight out of the last eight. Its range was in excess of 900 miles. Photograph released on 11 March 1960. (9/24/2014).
