Description

English: 330-PS-9236: Vice Admiral Hyman G. Rickover, USN, is awarded the Army and Navy Union Gold Medal of Honor, an honor bestowed previously on only three other military men. The medal was awarded Vice Admiral Rickover for his invaluable contribution to the defense of our nation and was presented to him by Mardan V. Askany, National Commander of the Army and Navy Union of the United States of America, 11 October 1958. (10/28/2014).
