| Description | 330-PS-2781-1: Experimental Hull for Jet Seaplane. A radical new flying boat “Hull Bottom” was tested near Baltimore, Maryland. The white lines which are painted on the hull are for test purposes to determine hull efficiency. The craft was made in tandem with Glen L. Martin Company for possible seaplanes to use jet engines. Photograph released June 1952. (5/19/2015). |
