(John Granderson), 1942- Original Description (from Book): This antebellum building is the only surviving example of an early commercial structure. Its steep roof and masonry first floor front testify to its age although the building has been extensively altered. The shingles should be removed and wood clapboard replaced, and the window sash also needs replacement. City/Location: Richmond (Va.)
