3057 Roman dolphin brooch
Description
English: Cast copper alloy Roman dolphin brooch length 29mm, width 19mm. Tubular wings which hold the pin axis bar. There is a slot in the centre of the wings at the rear where the pin would have been mounted. The bow is D-shaped with a groove running down its length, the catch plate is missing from the reverse. 55-100AD.
