Recibido con 3050.7 hs y modernizado al Standard A4-Q.

Traído al país a bordo del Portaaviones A.R.A 25 DE MAYO en enero de 1972.

Incorporado en febrero de 1972 como 0655/3-A-202, fue asignado a la TERCERA ESCUADRILLA AERONAVAL DE CAZA Y ATAQUE configurado como tanquero. En 1974 fue rematriculado como 0655/3-A-302 Sufrió averías durante un catapultaje por impacto del estrobo el 16 de mayo de 1974. Participo embarcado en el Portaaviones A.R.A 25 DE MAYO del operativo tronador por el conflicto del Canal de Beagle.

Sufrió averías el 13 de octubre de 1979 por retracción accidental del tren de nariz.

Durante el Conflicto del Atlántico Sur embarcó en el Portaaviones A.R.A 25 DE MAYO desde el 28 de abril hasta el 10 de mayo, desde el 14 de mayo opero desde la Base Aeronaval Río Grande. El 18 de mayo, sufrió una retracción accidental de tren de aterrizaje. El 23 de mayo, ataca la Fragata H.M.S ANTELOPE en el Estrecho de San Carlos. El 26 de mayo realiza una misión de reconocimiento artillado. El 27 de mayo realiza una misión de reconocimiento artillado. El 28 de mayo realiza una misión de reconocimiento artillado. El 9 de junio realiza una misión de reconocimiento artillado. El 12 de junio realiza una misión de reconocimiento artillado. Desde noviembre de 1982 no realiza embarques en Portaaviones por presentar fisuras en los largueros del ala. En 1984 es el primer A4-Q en ser pintado con esquema gris de baja visibilidad. Trasferido en 1987 a la SEGUNDA ESCUADRILLA AERONAVAL DE CAZA Y ATAQUE. Desactivado el 25 de febrero de 1988 con 4929.30 Horas Totales. Llevado en vuelo al Aeroparque Jorge NEWBERY con destino a la ESCUELA DE MECANICA DE LA ARMADA , fue transferido el 25 de mayo de 1988 como material didáctico En 1997 fue cedido en préstamo a la Armada del Brasil para pruebas en el NaEL (A11) MINAS GERAIS, devuelto ese mismo año. Transferido en 1998 al MUSEO DE LA AVIACION NAVAL. Repintado en 2007 con los colores que llevaba durante la guerra con Gran Bretaña por la recuperación de las Islas Malvinas. Actualmente en exhibición en el Parque de Aeronaves del MUAN.
