English: TRZEBIEN, Poland – Cpl. Aaron Brixley, tank gunner with Company D, 3rd Combined Arms Battalion, 69th Armor Regiment, 3rd Infantry Division, invites Polish soldiers of the 10th Armoured Cavalry Brigade, 11th Armoured Division, to take a look inside an M1A2 Abrams during joint training in Trzebien, Poland, Aug. 2. The training provided U.S. soldiers an inside look at the Polish BMP infantry fighting vehicle and the capabilities of their Polish counterparts. The D Co. “Dark Knights” stationed out of Fort Stewart, Ga., are currently on a training rotation in support of Operation Atlantic Resolve, a U.S. led effort in Eastern Europe that demonstrates U.S. commitment to the collective security of NATO and enduring peace and stability in the region.
