English: This display cabinet shows the Dragoon Book of the 2nd Cavalry Regiment in the unit’s Reed Museum located on Rose Barracks, Vilseck, Germany, Feb. 11, 2016. The Dragoon Book is the oldest and most cherished artifact in the Regiment. It dates back to the formation of the Regiment in 1836 and continues until 1863.The Reed Museum collects, preserves and exhibits historically significant objects related to the history of the Second Regiment of Dragoons, from 1836 to the present.
