Summary

[edit]
Description
English: Two hundred soldiers marched through Warwick on 27th November 2009 marking the end of a tough tour of Helmand Province.

The 2nd Battalion The Royal Regiment of Fusiliers (2RRF) had spent the previous six months in Afghanistan, through the sweltering heat and intense fighting of the summer months.

Based in Musa Qala and Sangin, the troops worked to provide and expand security in those areas, bringing increasing numbers of Afghan people under the governance of Kabul and out of the spectre of Taliban intimidation.
