Description
English: OPERATION IRAQI FREEDOM -- A KC-135 Stratotanker, 28th Expeditionary Air Refueling Squadron, refuels a B-52 Stratofortress bomber, 40th Air Expeditionary Wing, during A-day. The B-52 took part in the "Shock and Awe" campaign, Operation Iraqi Freedom. Coalition aircraft flew missions against more than 100 targets in Iraq in efforts to oust Saddam Hussein's regime.
