Description
English:

On verso of image: 28th SW and Dakota St., 11-5-1920 PH Coll 266.240

  • Subjects (LCTGM): Street railroad tracks--Washington (State)--Seattle; Residential streets--Washington (State)--Seattle
  • Subjects (LCSH): Twenth-eighth Avenue Southwest (Seattle, Wash.); Dakota Street (Seattle, Wash.); Delridge (Seattle, Wash.); Children--Washington (State)--Seattle; Dwellings--Washington (State)--Seattle

The streetcar ran along 28th Ave SW. It would appear that this is looking east on SW Dakota. If so, none of these buildings remain. This part of Dakota Street was later vacated: the land was very boggy. This is now the Dragonfly Garden and Pavilion along a restored Longfellow Creek.
