Built in the 1850s, the Greek Revival home is a contributing property to the Georgetown Historic District, a National Historic Landmark. Past occupants of 2823 N Street, N.W., include Rear Admiral Aaron Ward Weaver, attorney Adrian S. Fisher, and journalist John Pierson.
