Medieval 1350-1550 
Height 17mm, diameter 16mm aprox , thick 1mm

Beehive style thimble. The rim has a double engraved line running around its circumference. The sides taper towards the crown which is hemispherical although slightly pointed. Circular indentations are arranged in spiral on the crown and than radiate down the length of the walls in lines. The indentations vary in size and are not evenly spaced. Three of the indentations at the base of the crown have pierced the thimble.

Mid-green patina. The thimble is slightly squashed.
