Français : La Synagogue de Lille a été construite fin XIXe siècle par l'architecte Théophile-Albert Hannotin dans le récent "quartier Latin". Elle répondait à la nécessité de l'époque qui vit arriver dans la cité des juifs d'Alsace et de Lorraine suite à la guerre de 1870, ou de pays d'Europe Centrale.
C'est la seule synagogue de France qui ait gardé son mobilier après la 2ème Guerre Mondiale et la Shoah. |
