| Description | Having spent the previous evening in Târgu Mureș, this placed me in a good location to reach the end of a branch line the following morning. Around 23kms in a taxi to reach Bălăușeri. The line used to continue around 43 kms further to Praid, but was closed in August 20121. Seen here is Regio Călători DMU with trailer car 970559 nearest the camera having arrived in on train R11311, 06:22 Blaj to Bălăușeri Hm. This arrived in a few minutes late giving a rushed chance for a couple of photos before I travelled on it to Blaj. |
