Description
English: Copper-alloy tweezers length 66mm, width 5mm, thickness 1mm, weight 5.85g. Formed from a single strip which has been folded double. The terminal of the arms bend inwards to face each other, the other edge is bevelled. A very similar artefact was found in excavations in Colchester (see N. Crummy; 1983; pp. 59; no. 1883), although the developmental sequence for this object type is uncertain. Date roman
