Description
English: Copper alloy Roman dolphin brooch length 55mm, width 32mm, thickness 13mm, weight 11.98g. Tubular wings which hold the pin axis bar, double collar at the terminal, one of the wings is truncated. There is a slot in the centre of the wings at the rear where the pin would have been mounted. The bow is D-shaped with a serrated crest at the top, catch catchplate on the reverse. 55-100AD.
