English: During the Aquarius Calibration/Validation Workshop, Yan Soldo of NASA Goddard proposed some updates to Aquarius data processing, including additional radio frequency interference (RFI) flagging based on fixed thresholds. Despite the fact that the Aquarius radiometer operated within a band designated for scientific research, there were still areas where significant RFI was detected, particularly near air-traffic control radars. aquarius.umaine.edu
