Description
English: Cast copper alloy Roman furniture fitting diameter 29mm, thickness 16mm, weight 22.52g. The object is a solid cast bell-shaped knob with the remains of an iron fixture on the back. Within the cup of the bell shape there is a tall conical protruding boss with a central dimple. This type of fitting is known from the 1st to the 4th century
