This is a photograph of an architectural monument.
It is on the list of cultural monuments of Glückstadt, no. 2970.  Glückstadt (Schleswig-Holstein) – Am Fleth 33 – Eckhaus mit Löwenreliefs – Bauzeit: 1. Hälfte 19. Jh. – Das zweigeschossige, auf der Flethseite vierachsige Eckhaus stammt aus der ersten Hälfte des 19. Jahrhunderts. Es wird von einem Walmdach bedeckt. Das Haus steht auf einem hohen Kellergeschoss, sodass die zweiflügelige Eingangstür nur über eine Freitreppe zu erreichen ist. Die Treppe und die Ebene vor dem Eingang werden von einem Geländer mit spitzbogigen Zierformen umschlossen. – Die Fassade ist strukturiert durch den Wechsel von glatten Putzflächen und solchen mit waagerechten Fugen. Ein Fries mit Kreuzmuster über dem Eingangsbereich betont die Gebäudemitte zum Fleth hin. – Auf einem Stein an der Gebäudeecke sind zwei Löwenreliefs angebracht. Der Stein stammt vom ehemaligen nördlichen Stadttor. Er wurde vom Hauseigentümer erworben und sollte das Haus gegen Beschädigungen durch Fuhrwerke schützen. |
