Description Buil, actualmente más conocido como Santa María de Buil, es un núcleo que actualmente pertenece a an:l'Aínsa-Sobrarbe, se encuentra en la depresión de Arcusa en el Biello Sobrarbe. Componen esta población dos núcleos (o Bicos en el aragonés de la zona) bien diferenciados: San Martín de Buil y Santa María de Buil, cada uno toma el nombre de su iglesia. La Iglesia de Santa María de Buil es románica y una de las más grandes de su época en la zona, hasta tal punto que se la conoce popularmente como La Catedral de Sobrarbe.
