Summary

[edit]
Description
English: Second of three HÉV lines covered on the 23 September 2013. Seen here is the terminus station of Csepel, the shortest of the four lines, H7 just 7kms long. Each line has its own depot as none of the lines are inter-connected and over to the right the shed building can be seen. Stock seen here is the most modern, built in 1975 by LEW Hennigsdorf in the former East Germany. These are classified MXa and each 3-car set comprises of two driving motors cars and a trailer in between. Trains usually run around in 6-car sets and as a result, platforms are just this length making end of line photography not too easy. Seen on 23 September 2013, power car 954 is closest to the camera forming the 17:59 Csepel to Boráros tér. As with all the Budapest termini, they serve as an interchange with the tram and/or metro system.
