Summary
[edit]Description23.08.12 Newquay 150.123 (7871087422).jpg |
How the mighty have fallen! Cut down to one platform for a basic one or two car train service three or four times a day. However in the summer months, through HSTs operated by First Great Western and Voyager sets operated by Cross Country serve Newquay. As a result the single platform can accommodate a full length HST and the station is fully staffed during the summer. On 23 August 2012, 150.123 was in charge of 2C46, 12:40 Newquay to Penzance. These "local" services stop at most intermediate stations "on request" with the HST and Voyager trains running non-stop to Par. |
