English: Lance Cpl. Jeannette Rodriguezmartinez, Marine Medium Tiltrotor Squadron (VMM) 263 (Reinforced), 22nd Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU), MV-22 Osprey mechanic and native of Bakersfield, Calif., removes a panel on an Osprey for inspection aboard the USS Bataan (LHD 5) off the East Coast during the PHIBRON/MEU Integration Training (PMINT) exercise Sept. 24, 2013. PMINT was the MEU’s first opportunity to work aboard the Bataan as a composited MEU since the MEU’s 2011 deployment. The MEU is scheduled to deploy in early 2014 to the U.S. 5th and 6th Fleet areas of responsibility with the Bataan Amphibious Ready Group as a sea-based, expeditionary crisis response force capable of conducting amphibious missions across the full range of military operations.
