The sacred 22 stone stream at the foot of Nargajun hill in Nagarjuna municipality of Kathmandu. Full of natural beauty, this place is very famous for fun or picnic.

English: The sacred 22 stone stream at the foot of Nargajun hill in Nagarjuna municipality of Kathmandu. Full of natural beauty, this place is very famous for fun or picnic. After there were 21 streams built by King Prakash Malla at this place, Ran Bahadur Shah made the largest one with gold platted and there are 22 crocodile shaped stone streams. There is also a statue of two crocodiles on top of the largest stone stream built by Ran Bahadur Shah. As there are 22 streams here, the name of this place has been changed to Baisadhara. At this place, on the day of Chaitra Shukla Punirma, there is a big fair of devotees bathing in these holy streams known as Baisadhara. After bathing here, Bal Narayan and other deities living there are seen. There are idols of other deities in this Baisadhara Udhan. |
