[edit]
Description
English: U.S. Army Staff Sgt. Najee Warden, a flight paramedic assigned to 2nd General Support Aviation Battalion, 227th Aviation Regiment, 1st Air Cavalry Brigade, 1st Cavalry Division, preps Chief Warrant Officer 2 Dave Diaz, a pilot assigned to 3rd Assault Helicopter Battalion, 227th Aviation Regiment, 1st Air Cavalry Brigade, 1st Cavalry Division, to be hoisted into a UH-60M Black Hawk during a medevac exercise in Tallinn, Estonia, July 11, 2024. The 227th Avn. Regt. worked with Estonian soldiers to conduct an exercise that included a wounded soldier being evacuated via medevac. The training ensures that U.S. forces are able to work alongside our NATO allies effectively. The 1st Cavalry Division’s mission in Europe is to engage in multinational training and exercises across the continent, working alongside NATO allies and regional security partners to provide combat-credible forces to V Corps, America’s forward-deployed corps in Europe.
