   Mesolithic
33mm long, 20mm wide, 6mm thick.

Bulb of percussion on the top of the ventral with slight ripples emanating outwards. Arise running down the left side with three flaking scars coming off and forming a steep bevelled blade on the left, which has been retouched from both the ventral and dorsal sides. The right side of the arise has a shallow slop that leads down to a blade on the right side, which has been retouched from both the ventral and dorsal sides. The lower half of the right hand side blade is concaved terminating in a rounded retouched point at the base of the artefact.

Dark brown patina on the top half, fading to light grey in the lower half

A similar example was found at Hazleton North and was date to the Late Mesolithic (Saville, 1990, 162,165).
