English: A converted row house (left), located at 2107 O Street, N.W., in the Dupont Circle neighborhood of Washington, D.C., following the Second North American blizzard of 2010.
Built in 1893, the brick, Queen Anne Style, two-unit apartment building is designated as a contributing property to the Dupont Circle Historic District, listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1978. Previous occupants include: Colonel Flam F. Stewart; William Edwards Fort, an Alabaman judge and partner of Associate Justice of the Supreme Court Hugo Black; Carl M. Jordan, co-founder of Jordan Brothers Lumber Co. and the namesake for Jordan Bridge; Allen R. Boyd, chief clerk for the Library of Congress; and Hilda Cloud, an activist with the Gray Panthers. |
