Description |
English: Late Bronze age faceted socketed axe, 69mm long and 41mm wide. The object is in fair condition with a brown patina and some green corrosion. The axe has a circular collared socket and a body which begins with a square section and tapers down to a rectangular section 33mm long and 17mm wide. At this point the axe has snapped. The axe has prominent casting ridges down each side and one side loop, 24mm long and 10mm wide. |
