English: M1857 12-Pounder Napoleon. This cannon was cast at the William N. Hooper Foundry in Boston. Delivered to the US Army in 1864, it was assigned to the 13th New York Independent Battery in the Spring of 1864. This weapon saw service from the Battle of Resaca through the fall of Atlanta. |
