Description
Deutsch: Dresden-Neustadt: Artesischer Brunnen am Albertplatz. 1832 erhielt der Ratszimmermeister und Stadtrat Paul Siemen die Genehmigung, auf der Antonstraße einen Brunnen zu bohren. 1836 war der 243 m tiefe Brunnen fertig. Zur Erhöhung der dekorativen Wirkung wurde der Brunnenausgang an den Albertplatz verlegt. Hans Erlwein schuf die äußere Form des Wassertempels, der am 10.06.1906 übergeben wurde. Acht ionische Säulen tragen ein Kupfer gedecktes Dach über der Wasserfontäne. 1945 zerstört. Im Zuge der Neugestaltung des ehemaligen Platzes der Einheit wurde zwischen 1989 bis 1991 auch der artesische Brunnen wieder hergestellt.
