BRP Dioscoro Papa participates in a GUNNEX in Eastern Mindanao

Description
English: Last 15-20 August 2024, The Naval Forces Eastern Mindanao (NFEM) conducted Unilateral Exercise participated by NFEM Floating Assets and Philippine Navy Reservists to enhance Interoperability and Cohesion within the Navy. Said Exercise allow Regular and Reserve Forces to work together in Realistic Scenarios, building mutual trust and ensuring seamless Integration during actual Operations.

Key Highlights of said Activity includes MANNEX (Maneuvering Exercise), SEMAPHOREX (Semaphore Exercise), GUNNEX (Gunnery Exercise), conduct of VBSS (Visit, Board, Search and Seizure) and FLASHEX (Flashing Exercise) with each Serials/Events are Critical for Operational Readiness.

In Eastern Mindanao, where the Security Landscape is complex, efficient collaboration between Units is essential, Likewise PN Reservists, with their Skill Sets and Community Ties, play a crucial Role in bridging Gaps, strengthening the Navy's ability to respond effectively to different Challenges within its Waters.
