Description
Português: A Ação para Meninas e Mulheres no Marajó, que ocorre no arquipélago do Marajó simultaneamente com a realização da Semana Justiça pela Paz em Casa, de 19 a 23 de agosto, foi tema de entrevista coletiva concedida pela conselheira Renata Gil, do Conselho Nacional de Justiça (CNJ) à imprensa nesta segunda-feira, 19, no Salão Nobre do prédio-sede do Tribunal de Justiça do Pará (TJPA).

Presente à coletiva, a presidente do TJPA, desembargadora Maria de Nazaré Silva Gouveia dos Santos explicou que o programa é permanente, iniciado em Salvaterra e Soure e irá para outros municípios da região até o final do ano. Segundo ela, o Judiciário se faz presente no Marajó por ser um local onde a população é socialmente vulnerável, e as orientações que serão fornecidas sobre a rede de proteção às mulheres violentadas são fundamentais no combate às agressões.
A ativista Luiza Brunet também participou do momento, e destacou a relevância do combate à violência motivada por gênero na região, principalmente a praticada contra meninas.
