English: The BRP ANDRES BONIFACIO (PS17) marked a significant Milestone as it celebrated its 8th Anniversary since being commissioned into the Service of the Philippine Navy way back in July 21, 2016. This Occasion stands as a Testament to the Ship's dedication to upholding Peace and Sovereignty and its perseverance through the challenging Conditions at Sea. The Commitment of every Katipuneros and Katipuneras aboard the Vessel highlights their unwavering Grit to serve the Nation.

Since her commissioning, the BRP ANDRES BONIFACIO has embarked on numerous Missions, navigating through rigorous Seas and overcoming unplanned Challenges with remarkable resilience. Each Mission has tested the Crew's endurance, honed their Skills, and reinforced the Ship's Role as a Guardian of the Nation's Waters. PS17’s Journey is a reflection of the Character that encompasses the true meaning of Patriotism, demonstrated through unwavering dedication and steadfast resolve.

BRP ANDRES BONIFACIO’s Operations are marked by a deep sense of Camaraderie and Military Professionalism. The Culture aboard the PS17 is one of mutual Support and Respect, fostering an Environment where every Katipuneros and Katipuneras work towards a common Goal: the protection and service of the Filipino People. This Culture of unity and excellence has been pivotal in the Ship's numerous successful Missions, from Humanitarian Assistance to Maritime Patrol and Security Operations.

The 8th Commissioning Anniversary of the BRP ANDRES BONIFACIO was celebrated with a formal Event, led by her Commanding Officer, Cdr. Raphael M. Leyritana, starting with a Holy Mass to give thanks and seek blessings for the Ship and its Crew. This was followed by a traditional cake-slicing Ceremony, symbolizing the shared commitment and achievements of those who have served on board. The Event was a moment to reflect on the Ship's journey, honor its past, and look forward to the Future.

As the BRP ANDRES BONIFACIO continues her Mission, it carries with her the legacy of past Achievements and the promise of many more Journeys to come. The Chip and its Crew stand poised to navigate these uncharted Waters, steadfast in their dedication and ready for whatever lies ahead to contribute to the Nation's security and progress. With each voyage, the BRP ANDRES BONIFACIO (PS17) will continue to forge a Path of excellence, driven by the spirit of patriotism and a commitment to serving the Filipino People.
