Description
Português: Plenário do Senado Federal durante sessão solene de premiações e condecorações, destinada à entrega do Diploma Bertha Lutz.
A premiação anual ocorre durante as atividades que marcam o Dia Internacional da Mulher, como reconhecimento a mulheres que se destacaram na defesa dos direitos e das questões de gênero no Brasil.
Outorga do Diploma Bertha Lutz à agraciada Gina Vieira Ponte de Albuquerque.
Gina atuou por mais de 30 anos como professora da educação básica no Distrito Federal. É autora do Projeto Mulheres Inspiradoras, que foi criado e desenvolvido em 2014 com estudantes do 9º ano do Ensino Fundamental. O projeto tem foco no legado das mulheres e na promoção de uma cultura livre de violência contra mulheres e meninas. O projeto foi agraciado com o I Prêmio Iberoamericano de Educação em Direitos Humanos. Hoje ele está presente em 50 escolas públicas do DF, em Campo Grande-MS, e também na província de Niassa, localizada na parte norte de Moçambique, na África.
