Summary

[edit]
Description
English: Temporary information board set up outside the statue of Thomas Guy in the courtyard of Guy's Hospital, as evident in January 2023. The statue had been boxed up in June 2020 in response to Black Lives Matter protests, with the idea of removing the statue from its pedestal being put forward. Amid subsequent changes in law regulating the removal of historic statuary, the boarding was removed (in late 2022?) and this information board installed as a temporary measure.
