A 2008 Smart Fortwo modified to be powered by a GE T58 turbine engine.

Summary

[edit]
Description
English: A modified 2008 Smart Fortwo on display at the 2023 Denver Auto Show. Built by Rocketbilly Racing, the car retains its original three-cylinder engine, but is also equipped with a General Electric T58-GE03 gas turbine engine originally designed for use in Huey helicopters. The engines are operated independently of each other, allowing the vehicle to be either quiet and efficient or loud and fast. The vehicle is street legal and fully insured, according to Rocketbilly Racing owner Bill Berg, and registered in the State of Colorado with the license tag "JET CAR". The image's metadata latitude and metadata longitude are inaccurate by about 2.5 km due to poor GPS reception inside the exhibition hall; please disregard them.
