Description
Deutsch: Die Goldene Kapelle (früher: Königskapelle) befindet sich in der Mitte des Chorumgangs des Posener Doms. Das Doppelstandbild der ersten polnischen Piastenherrscher Mieczysław I. und Bolesław I. wurde 1840 von dem Bildhauer Christian Daniel Rauch geschaffen und 1841 im Dom aufgestellt.
English: The Golden Chapel (formerly: King's Chapel) is located in the center of the choir gallery of the Poznan Cathedral. The double statue of the first Polish Piast rulers Mieczysław I and Bolesław I was created by the sculptor Christian Daniel Rauch in 1840 and placed in the Cathedral in 1841.
