English: Headquarters Naval Forces Central, Naval Base Rafael Ramos, Brgy Looc, Lapu-Lapu City, Cebu, August 30, 2023 – Naval Forces Central (NFC) through BRP GENER TINANGAG (PG903) and Naval Special Operations Unit 5 (NAVSOU5) conducted Sustained Maritime Security Patrols in the Seawaters off Carcar City during the “Pagsigarbo sa Sugbo 2023” held at Carcar City Sports Complex, Carcar City, Cebu last August 27, 2023.

Naval Forces Central through Naval Task Force 50 deployed BRP GENER TINANGAG (PG903) skippered by LCDR EDWIN H NUESTRO PN and one (1) SEAL Team from Naval Special Operations Unit 5 (NAVSOU5) which conducted sustained Seaborne Security Patrols along the adjacent Waters off Carcar City, Cebu in celebration of “Pagsigarbo sa Sugbo 2023”. NFC also tasked the Naval Information and Communication Technology Station – Cebu (NICTS-C) to establish a Command Post that linked the Command’s Operating Units in order to provide real-time situational updates on the said Festival.
