Description
Português: Plenário do Senado Federal durante sessão especial destinada a celebrar o Dia Nacional do Policial e do Bombeiro.
O Dia Nacional do Policial e do Bombeiro Militares é comemorado em 24 de junho. A data remete ao falecimento do cabo Valério dos Santos Oliveira, da Polícia Militar de Minas Gerais, que foi atingido por uma bala perdida durante uma reivindicação por melhores condições de trabalho e de salário, no dia 24 de junho de 1997, em Belo Horizonte.
Já o Dia do Bombeiro Brasileiro é celebrado em 2 de julho, data em que foi criado o primeiro corpo de bombeiros no país, no ano de 1856.
