Description
Deutsch: Überreste vom Deckel eines Kindersargs wahrscheinlich aus dem 18. Jahrhundert in der Wettberger Gruft, dem Erbbegräbnis der Familien von Hansing und von Grone, unter der Johannes-der-Täufer-Kirche in Hannover im Stadtteil Wettbergen. Als Beschlag erkennbar ist vor einem Pflanzenornament ein aufgeschlagenes Buch mit der Schrift "memento mori" und ein liegendes Stundenglas.
English: Remains of lid of a child's coffin probably from the 18th century in the Wettbergen crypt, the hereditary burial place of the von Hansing and von Grone families, under St. John the Baptist Church in the Wettbergen district of Hannover, Germany. The fitting in front of a plant ornament is an open book with the inscription "memento mori" and a lying hourglass.
