Summary

[edit]
Description
English: FORT BONIFACIO, Metro Manila - The Philippine Army unveiled its newly completed heli-mock tower designed to train soldiers in a spectrum of helicopter operations on July 13, 2022 at the 4th Infantry Division Training School (4DTS) in Malaybalay, Bukidnon.

Col. Emmanuel Cabasan, Deputy Assistant Chief of Staff for Education and Training, DG8, PA, with the Headquarters Philippine Army training evaluation committee and Lt. Col. Edgardo Talaroc, 4DTS commandant, unveiled the newly constructed tower designed to train soldiers on Fast Rope Insertion and Extraction System (FRIES) for operations and casualty evacuation and Humanitarian Assistance and Disaster Response (HADR) missions.

The project is in line with the thrust of Army Commanding General Lt. Gen. Romeo S. Brawner, Jr., to enhance the individual skills of soldiers and unit capabilities. The project is envisioned to produce well-trained and well-capacitated soldiers that will contribute to the fulfillment of the Army’s core purpose of serving the people and securing the land. #
