Description
Deutsch: Offenburg 2021.

Blick von dem im Stadtteil gelegenen Finkenweg auf die Bebauung. Kennzeichnend für diese Straßen ist die aus den Reihenhäusern bestehende Ursprungsbebauung des Stadtteils aus den frühen 1950er Jahren, die hier noch weitgehend vorhanden ist, wenngleich man beim genaueren Hinsehen erkennt, dass hier über die Jahrzehnte eine Individualisierung stattgefunden hat.

Die Neubausiedlung wurde insbesondere dazu errichtet, um Flüchtlingen aus den ehemaligen Ostgebieten des Deutschen Reiches eine neue Heimstatt zu bieten. Die Häuser kosteten Anfang der 1950er Jahre 17.000 DM und hatten eine Gesamtwohnfläche von circa 90m².
