English: The Ambassador of Timor-Leste, Mrs. Renata de Jesus participated in the historic Laos-China Train launch.
President of Lao PDR, H.E. Mr. Thongloung Sisoulith and his Chinese counterpart H.E. Mr. Xi Jinping officially opened the historic Laos-China railway in an online ceremony. At this inaguration, H.E. Mr. President Thongloung Sisoulith ordered the first train on the railway train to depart Vientiane for Vang Vieng.The train transported the Prime minister of Laos who led a group of senior officials and the Diplomatic Corps on the first journey on the train. Meanwhile the President of China gave the signal for the first train to head south to Vientiane from Kunming in Southwest China's Yunnan province. H.E.
