Deutsch: Mahnmal gegen den Kolonialismus auf dem Bertha-von-Suttner-Platz in Hannover mit der Inschrift:

„Dieses Denkmal wurde im Jahr 1935 von den Nationalsozialisten errichtet. Es stand für Verherrlichung des Kolonialismus und des Herrenmenschentums. Uns aber ist es Mahnung - der Charta der Menschenrechte entsprechend - uns einzusetzen für die Gleichberechtigung aller Völker, Menschen und Rassen.“

English: Memorial against colonialism on Bertha-von-Suttner-Platz in Hannover with the inscription:

„This monument was erected by the Nazis in 1935. It stood for the glorification of colonialism and the master race. For us, however, it is a reminder - in accordance with the Charter of Human Rights - to stand up for the equal rights of all peoples, people and races.“
