English: The New York State Education Building located at 89 Washington Avenue between Hawk and Swan Streets in Albany, New York, was built between 1908 and 1911, and was designed by Henry Hornbostel in the Beaux-Arts style. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1971. It is the headquarters to the New York State Education Department. One Commerce Plaza can be seen in the background. |
