Summary
[edit]Description2019 04 11-esb-spire1.jpg |
English: The transmitting end of the Empire State Building. Mouse over for details. Note that now the famous Alford master antenna system, of 32 T-shaped antennas, all cocked at a 45-degree angle, 16 each above and below the102nd floor observation deck, are now gone. This is because they had functioned as auxiliary antennas after a two new master systems were installed on the mast above, and a new auxiliary antenna system was now installed in the section just above the top of the building, at the bottom section of the mast. Soon the 102nd floor would be renovated much taller windows made possible by removing the Alford system. |
