Description
Polski: Wiceminister Sylwester Tułajew odwiedził w poniedziałek (16 września br.) placówkę Straży Granicznej w Terespolu. Wiceszef MSWiA i jednocześnie Pełnomocnik Rządu ds. Przygotowania Organów Administracji Państwowej do Współpracy z Systemem Informacyjnym Schengen i Wizowym Systemem Informacyjnym, zapoznał się z aktualnym stanem przygotowań do zaplanowanych przez UE zmian w obszarze Wielkoskalowych Systemów Informacyjnych UE.

Proponowane przez Unię Europejską zmiany dotyczą wdrożenia Systemu Wjazdu/Wyjazdu (EES) i Europejskiego Systemu Informacji o Podróży oraz Zezwoleń na Podróż (ETIAS). Jednocześnie zmodernizowane zostaną systemy SIS II, VIS, Eurodac.

Zmiany te z jednej strony mają doprowadzić do znaczącej poprawy zarządzania granicami zewnętrznymi strefy Schengen i uszczelnienia systemu, a z drugiej do podniesienia poziomu bezpieczeństwa wewnątrz UE.

Podczas wizyty wiceszefa MSWiA funkcjonariusze Straży Granicznej przedstawili informacje na temat funkcjonowania drogowego przejścia granicznego w Terespolu w kontekście systemów wielkoskalowych.

W trakcie spotkania zostały też zaprezentowane założenia Systemu Cyfrowa Granica, który jest wdrażany w ramach Programu Platforma Usług Elektronicznych Skarbowo-Celnych (PUESC). Przybliżono też funkcjonowanie towarowego przejścia granicznego z terminalem odpraw w Koroszczynie.

Wiceszefowi MSWiA, podczas wizyty w placówce Straży Granicznej w Terespolu, towarzyszyli m.in. Piotr Dziedzic - podsekretarz stanu w Ministerstwie Finansów i jednocześnie Zastępca Szefa KAS oraz gen. bryg. SG Jacek Bajger - Zastępca Komendanta Głównego Straży Granicznej.
